He is survived by: his parents, Manuel Smith and Viola Smith (O'Donnell); his wife Eleanor Garber; his daughter-in-law Donna Mae Vondra of Stoughton, WI; his grandson Gabe Vondra (Nandy) of Johnson Creek, WI; his great grandchild Alex Vondra of Johnson Creek, WI; his nieces, Karla Kelly (Dennis) of Suffolk, VA, Marcia Labutski (Steve) of Big Bend, WI and Paula Smith (Dean) of Darien; his son Michael; and his brother Marvin Smith.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Dream Foundation in Santa Barbara, CA.
