He is survived by: his grandchildren, Joe (Lindsey), Sam (Amanda), Sean (Suzanne) and Sabrina Gruett; his great grandchildren, Katelyn, Madison, Evan, Aubrey, Hailey, Aiden Laskey, Mason, Breleigh and Harper Gruett; his wife Catherine; his son Lawrence Gunderson; his son-in-law Alan Laskey; and his siblings, Herbert Gunderson (Alma), Goldie Borkenhagen (August), Marion Gunderson (Jonny), Catherine Hanks (David) and Lillian Sweezy (Harald).
