He was predeceased by: his parents, Juan A. Perez and Maria Perez (Huerta); his father-in-law Reynaldo Vasquez; his brother-in-law Ismale Vasquez; and his nephews, Marc A. Coulson and Antonio R. Vasquez.

He is survived by: his wife Maria Victoria Perez (Vasquez); his children, Bulmaro Perez (Monica), Laura Mendoza (Arturo), Victor Vasquez, Daniel Perez (Stephanie), Juan Perez (Marisa) and Alex Perez; his siblings, Salvador Perez-Huerta (Mariza), Gloria Espino (Valentin), Rosario Perez-Huerta, Luis Perez-Huerta (Rosaura) and Luisa Licona-Cruz (Aristeo); his siblings-in-law, Abel Vasquez, Ester David (Wayne), Estella Huerta (Robert), Sonja Vasquez-Andrade, Abelardo Vasquez and Carmen Vasquez-Valdes; and his grandchildren, Kevin (Gissel Mendoza), Elijah (Cristian Vasquez), Anna Perez, Gabriel Rodriguez, KayLee, Antonio (Ellie Perez) and Cade (Ethan Perez). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
