Janet Kennedy Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Janet Kennedy of Dodgeville, Wisconsin, who passed away on July 22, 2025, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Paulina Heuer (Polly) and Alvin T Printy; her siblings, Melvin "Bill", Lucille "Pat" Williams, Martha Breidegan, Shirley Lundegreen, Josephine Salthe, Berniece Snyder and Paulina "Petie" DiBella; and her siblings' children, Bruce Priest and Naomi Peterson.
She is survived by: her sisters, Roselie Priest (Wilfred), Annetta Baugh and Wanita Printy-Zika; her children, Patricia Edgin (Charles) and Wayne Kennedy (Theresa); and her grandchildren, Wesley Kennedy (Marie), Shekinah King (Luke), Caleb Kennedy and Elise Jorneby (Eric). She is also survived by six great grandchildren plus several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 30th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Abundant Life Christian Center (322 N Level St, Dodgeville, WI 53533). A celebration of life will be held on Wednesday, July 30th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Saturday, August 23rd 2025 at the Brushy Cemetery.
In honor of her memory and in lieu of flowers, all donations will be made by the family to buy sewing machines for the Mission in India.
