He was predeceased by : his parents, Clarence Geiger and Lucy Geiger (Keller); and his brother Donald. He is survived by : his wife Donna Theilig; his children, Vicki Michaels (Chris) of Colfax, Monica DeGroot of Waterford and Pete Geiger (Nycole) of Withee; his grandchildren, Myranda Verheyen (Nick), Willie Michaels (Abby), Angela Dickson (Alex), Jennifer Kamp (Brad), Christina Michaels, David DeGroot (Angel), Hannah DeGroot, Nathan DeGroot and Zachary Geiger (Lily German); his great grandchildren, Greyson Geiger and Scott DeGroot; and his siblings, Janice Schmelzer of Burlington and Rick Geiger of Spokane, WA. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

“Donna and Family, So sorry to hear of Dale's passing, I know hard and broken hearted it is. I lost Allen December 26th of 2020 and 56 years of marriage. I'm still hurting, guess it doesn't go away. I put pictures of him all over the house and I talk to him, so its kind of like he's still here. I think he visits me, as I smell his aftershave different times. Thoughts and prayers.
