He was predeceased by : his wife Claudine Gandt; his son Jeff Gandt; his parents, Edward Gandt and Clara Gandt; and his siblings, Karl Gandt and Phyllis Krohn.
He is survived by : his son Joel Gandt (Eileen); and his granddaughters, Alexandra Gandt and Samantha Gandt. He is also survived by other nieces, nephews, and friends.
