He was predeceased by: his wife Rosemary; his sons, Leonard and Roger; his grandson Corey; and his siblings, William, Mary Schaeffer, Ann Weissinger, Barb Dekan and Emma Bauer.
He is survived by: his children, Marilyn Hoven (Lynn) of Houlton, Pat (Marcia) of Durand, Hubie Jr. (Jody), Bob (JoAnn) of Rock Falls, Donald of Downsville, John of South St and Tom of Turtle Lake; his sisters, Lucy Ann Sabelko of Durand and Veronica Nielen of Cudahy; and his sister-in-law Helen Bauer of Durand. He is also survived by 17 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren, 1 great great granddaughter.
