Dennis L. Bolles Obituary
Dennis L. Bolles, 74, of East Troy, WI, welcomed home by his Lord and Savior on March 21, 2025, surrounded by his loving family. Born on November 11, 1950, in Racine, WI, to Edson and Damus Bolles.
A proud graduate of Waterford High School, Dennis answered the call to serve his country and enlisted in the United States Marine Corps, bravely serving in the Vietnam War. His courage, sacrifice, and devotion to his country was a testament to his strength and character.
Beyond his service, Dennis was a man of deep kindness, patience, and generosity. A devoted husband to Kim Bolles of 47 years, he built a life rooted in faith, family, and love. He was the proud father of Michael (Alexa) and Frank, and a cherished grandfather to Stella and Asher. His love for his family knew no bounds, and he found his greatest joy in the time spent with them.
Dennis is further survived by his brother, Dale Bolles, and his sister, Judy Arnold (Dave). He was preceded in death by his siblings JoFern Toth, Janet Backus, Duane Bolles, and Joyce Brown (Shannon).
Dennis's love extended to his in-laws, nieces, nephews, cousins, and all of his extended family. Along with many faithful friends, who were fortunate to know his warm and welcoming nature. He shared special bonds with each of them, and they were a constant source of joy in his life.
An avid outdoorsman, Dennis found peace and fulfillment in nature. Whether he was fishing on quiet waters, hunting in the solitude of the woods, or cultivating his garden, he cherished every moment spent outdoors. His love for nature wasn't just a hobby—it was a way of life.
Dennis was a man of faith, a devoted member of Orchard Hill Church in Mukwonago, WI. His Christian values guided him in all that he did, and he lived his life with kindness, humility, and a servant's heart.
Dennis's legacy is one of love, honor, and quiet strength. He leaves behind a family who adored him, a community that was better for knowing him, and memories that will be treasured forever. Though he is no longer by our side, his memory will live on in the hearts of those who were blessed to know him.
A memorial service will be held at Schmidt & Bartelt Funeral Home (930 Main St. Mukwonago) on June 5th, at 6:00 PM. Visitation will be from 4:00 PM until the time of the service where family and friends will gather to celebrate a life well-lived.
