Donna J. Syring Obituary

Donna Syring, age 82, of Easy Troy, WI passed away peacefully on Sunday October 9, 2023. Beloved wife to Donald Syring for 53 years, loving mother to two daughters, Tracy (Pat) Statler and Dana (Matt) Burke, and adoring grandmother to Nick, & Brinn Statler of Gainesville, VA and Henry Burke of East Troy, WI. Donna is preceded in death and is survived by many other family members and friends.

Donna was an art teacher for most of her career in the East Troy School system. She was a very talented artist in her own right. She enjoyed drawing, painting, photography, sculpting and sewing. Donna loved to travel with her family and enjoyed spending time researching their next adventure. Florida was a special place for her and later in life was able to split her time between Florida and Wisconsin. Donna was an avid gardener. She remained active maintaining a beautiful yard full of plants and flowers well into her years. She enjoyed picking fresh vegetables from the garden and using her intuitive cooking skills to create delicious and beautifully presented meals.

Donna was a member of the Good Shepherd Lutheran Church family for over 40 years, where both of her daughters were baptized and confirmed. A visitation will be held on Friday, October 13th at 10:00 am with a service at 11:00 am, and luncheon to follow. All will be held at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in East Troy.
