It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Evelyn Ione Chappell of Eau Claire, Wisconsin, who passed away on April 11, 2024, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Oliver Wold and Lucille Wold; her husband Dick; her parents-in-law, Edward Chappell and Esther Chappell Larson; her brother Allen Wold (Bubby); and her siblings-in-law, Ron Erickson and Doris Wold.
She is survived by: her children, Richard "Rick" Chappell (Cindy) and Susan “Sue” Hutchinson; her grandchildren, Tammy Hoppe (James), Stacey Chappell, Derek Chappell (Pam) and Dustin Chappell; her great grandchildren, Jacob "Jake" Hutchinson, Tyler Doorn, Haleigh Doorn, Sona Chappell and Vivin Chappell; her great great grandchildren, Nathaniel Hutchinson and Opal Evelyn Hutchinson; and her siblings, Daryl Wold (Judy) and Lenore Erickson. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
