Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Janice Thurs of Edgar, Wisconsin, born in Marathon, Wisconsin, who passed away at the age of 79, on December 10, 2021. She was predeceased by : her parents, Anton Volhard and Clara Volhard (Skrzypchak); her stepfather Rueben Ahlquist; and her brother-in-law Fred Otto. She is survived by : her husband Tony Thurs; her children, David Thurs (Sue), Edgar, Connie Hanson (Brad), Tammy Anderson (Jim) and Jamie Koehler (Luke); her grandchildren, Caley Stahel (Jon), Tessa Thurs, Hannah Olson, Jaron Olson, Cole, Garrett Hanson, Jacee Anderson (Ben Kellner), Justin, Julia Anderson, Malana, Brooks and Taya Koehler; her great grandchildren, Kingstyn, Adley and Mick Stahel; and her sister Donna Otto (Eugene Stahel). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers a memorial fund has been established in Jan's name.
