She was predeceased by : her parents, Charles Vogel and Katherine Vogel (Yanke); and her siblings, George, Alan, Robert, Clint, Maxine, Phyllis and Erlene.

She is survived by : her son Mark Bourenske; her sisters-in-law, Dorothy and Beverly Vogel; and her goddaughter Jan Burnette. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to St. John in the Wilderness Episcopal Church or the Alzheimer's Association.
