He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer Lagerstrom and Olga Lagerstrom (Stilla); and his brother Ronald. He is survived by: his wife Joy; his children, Lori Sharpsteen of St. Peters, Verne Lagerstrom II (Kim) and Chad (Shelly) of Woodstock; and his former wife Barbara. He is also survived by ten grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren, two nephews.
