She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Alfred Conrad Horst and Hertha Westphal Horst; her children, Allen (Sherri), Dennis (Julianne), Pamela Lorenz (Hank), Sandra, Russell, Rick (Carol), Angela Barnes (Don) and Michael (Mary Beth); and her niece Betty Stiefel. She was also cherished by 23 grandchildren and 29 great grandchildren.

As Alzheimer's took hold, her phone became her lifeline.
