She was predeceased by: her parents, Ervin Knutson and Hilda Knutson (Reitz); her husband Alex J. Hess; her sister Helen Farvour Bryant (Walter); and her brother-in-law David Schroeder.
She is survived by: her son Brian Hess; and her sister Dorothy Schroeder. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to Immanuel Trinity Lutheran Church or Winnebago Lutheran Academy in Donna's name.
