He was predeceased by: his parents, Leslie Schwartz and Eleanora Schwartz (Klatt); his parents-in-law, Mike and Sophia Schill; his sister Helen Kind; his siblings-in-law, Keith Lerch, Charles Thanos, John Schill, Harold Uelmen, Dave Mielke and Marilyn Thanos; and his sibling's children, Patrick Schill, Opey Schwefel, Diana Banaszynski and Tammy Moore.
He is survived by: his wife Patricia Schill; his sons, Clayton Schwartz (Andrea) and Tyler Schwartz (Amber); his grandchildren, Tahlia Jean, Eleanora Ruth, Cooper James, Luke Micah and Logan Ohlsson; his siblings, Carol Kramer (Ken), Carolyn Lerch, Elaine Schwefel (Paul) and Don Schwartz (Joyce); and his siblings-in-law, Rosanne Schill Uelmen, Carol Moore (Ron), LeNore Schill, Larry Kind, Dick Schill (Myrtle), Michael Schill, Tom Schill (Lydia) and David Schill (Laurie). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the family for the St. Mary's Springs High School Athletic Department.
