He was predeceased by: his parents, Eduard Zimmermann and Martha Zimmermann (Hartkopf); his wife Irmgard Siebert; his son Rolf; and his siblings, Siegfried and Ingrid.
He is survived by: his daughter Sigrid Holman (John) of Fond; his grandchildren, Erik Holman (Vasilena) of Milwaukee, Blake Holman (Anna-Michelle) of South Bend, Ind, Amy Baumhardt (Matt) of Fond, Lac and Jenny Svehlek (Chris) of Prairie Village, KS; and his siblings, Irmtraut Lange (Kurt) and Ernst Zimmermann (Anneliese). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In Lieu of flowers, memorials appreciated to Hope Lutheran Church or Hospice Home of Hope.
