It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Leonard R. Hug Jr. of Fond du Lac, Wisconsin, who passed away on December 3, 2023, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Leonard Hug, and Madiline Hug, Sr. (Wild); his wife Karen Kirschenstein; and his brother Richard Hug. He is survived by: his daughters, Gina Malson (Mike), Dawn Lerche (Todd), Rebecca Flynn (Jerry) and Jennie Silvia (Kevin King); his grandchildren, Tyler Hug (Katie Lynn), Bobbie Jo Fitzsimmons, Courtney Schwefel (Tyler), Derek Malson (Jessika Schraven), Shawna Malson (Ray), Todd Jr. Lerche, Daniel Lerche and Gage Lerche; his great grandchildren, Kayla, Jaxson, Hunter, Sy'anna, Kaydence, Gracie, Evelyn, Braydon, Camile, Blaine and Raymond; his great great grandchild Kamiya; his sister Rita Johan; his sister-in-law Jessica Hug; and his former wife Dollyann Hug.
