He was predeceased by: his parents, Wallace Miller and Marion Miller; his sister JoAnn Reese; and his grandchildren, Tyler Meredith and Taylor Meridith.

He is survived by: his wife Joyce E. Miller; the mother of his children Sharon Magee; his children, Shelley Meredith (Tim), Sherry Hondorp, Shawn Miller (Deb), Steve Trapp (Mary Beth) and Don Trapp (Candy); his grandchildren, Lauren Meredith (Nicole), Gabrielle Hondorp, Sydney Miller, Mason Miller, Ryan Trapp (Kayla), Lucas Trapp, Cole Trapp (Tess) and Kathrine Smith (Dakota); and his great grandchildren, Weston Meredith, Ava Trapp and Koltin Smith.

Visitation was held on Saturday, July 26th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the New Horizon Methodist Church (1726 S Murphy Rd, Janesville, WI 53548). A memorial service was held on Saturday, July 26th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the New Horizons Methodist Church (1726 S Murphy Rd, Janesville, WI 53576).
