He was predeceased by: his parents, Virgil Spencer and Verna Mae Brown (Beahm); his brother-in-law Donald Hustad; and his son-in-law Ronald Beck. He is survived by: his wife Marilyn Brown of Fort Atkinson; his children, Sally O'Brien (Kevin) of Jefferson, Wendy Brown of Lake Mills and Rebecca Druid (Steve) of Madison; his grandchildren, Kasey O'Brien, Spencer O'Brien, Lexi Druid and Austin Druid; his stepchildren, Daryl Melcher (Maria) of Edgerton, Brenda Beck of Watertown and Julie Miller (Tim) of Ixonia; his stepgrandchildren, Amanda Melcher, Stephanie Roe, Charles Melcher, Sarah Melcher (William Chojnacki), Josh Nettesheim (Ashley), Jenna Heinecke (Jason), Justin Nettesheim (Jenny), Jake Miller (Kerry Rossow), Zach Miller (Anna) and Katie Wojahn (Paul); his sister Lois Hustad of Albion; his niece Susan Murray (Kurt); and his nephew Steven Hustad (Annie).
