She was predeceased by: her parents, Leo Fandrei and Hattie Fandrei; her husband Harold Schloesser; her daughter Patricia; and her sisters, Florence and Hazel.
She is survived by: her children, Michael Schloesser and Susan Balog (Jeff); and her grandchildren, Kathy, Micah, Rachel, Keith and Nicole. She is also survived by two great grandchildren, a niece and nephews.
Memorials may be made in Ruth's name to St. John's Lutheran Church in Milton.
