He was predeceased by : his parents-in-law, Dennis and Michele Nickel. He is survived by : his parents, Ronald Kapitanski and Kathleen Kapitanski of Oxford, WI; his grandson Jax; his wife Renee Kapitanski of Fox Lake; his children, Jessica Barrera (Mitch) of Beaver Dam and Jacob Kapitanski of Fox Lake; his grandsons, Jaxson and Dakota Barrera; and his brothers, Christopher Kapitanski (Kristie) of Milwaukee and Douglas Kapitanski (Ilene) of New Berlin.

Memorial Contributions The family suggests memorials be directed in Dan's name to "Friends of Clausen Park" P.O. Box 105 Fox Lake WI 53933.
