He was predeceased by : his parents, August Luedtke and Mildred Luedtke (Buss); his brothers, Ernest Weyland (Diana), Robert Weyland (Della), Daniel Weyland (Shirley), James Weyland (LaVonne), Philip Weylandt (Molly), Ralph Luedtke (Sharon), Sam Luedtke and John Luedtke (Lana); and his brother-in-law Gilbert Meyer.

He is survived by : his wife Betty Zielke; his children, Kevin Luedtke, Beverly Krake (Joseph) and Barbara Luedtke (Tyle Treml); his grandchildren, Brianne Knaack (Jeff) and Jared Krake; his sister Mary Meyer; and his sister-in-law Toni Luedtke. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends.

A memorial fund has been established for Zion Lutheran Church.
