Lorraine S. Jewell Obituary
(née Schoepske) Formerly of Germantown. Found peace September 24, 2025 at the age of 95. Beloved wife of the late Rodney for 53 years. Loving mom of David, the late Charles, the late Steven and Karen (Jonathan) Jones. Proud grandma of Chas, Lydia "Rhys" (Ash), Nora and Sophia. Further survived by other family and friends.
Preceded in death by her brother Harvey Schoepske.
Lorraine loved embroidery, winning many awards for her stitching. She was the extended family's lore-keeper and genealogist and a favorite aunt for generations of Jewell and Schoepske offspring.
A dedicated reader, she was a member of two book clubs even after her vision had faded. She loved to travel and her secret favorite place was the Etruscan tombs outside Rome.
In retirement, she worked at a charity thrift shop and was active in her church and embroidery guild.
Visitation will be held at Grace Evangelical Lutheran Church, W196N9525 Cross View Way, Menomonee Falls, WI 53051, Friday, October 3 from 10:00 a.m. until the time of memorial service at 11:00 a.m.
