She was predeceased by : her parents, Paul Derogotis and Alice Derogotis (Stanke); her son Kerby Kniess; her brother Ronald Derogotis; her parents-in-law, Erwin and Esther Kniess; her son-in-law Craig Lange; and her sisters, Yvonne Kniess (Dave), Labelle Klug (Edward) and Elizabeth Jahns.

She is survived by : her husband Dan Kniess; her children, Kitty Lange, Kathleen Krzanowski (Darrell), Kriss Kniess and Kandy Walker; her grandchildren, Dan Kniess (Liz), Tasha Kniess, Derek Krzanowski and Jesse Krzanowski; her great grandchildren, Callyn, Delany Kniess, Christopher, Kaitlyn, Aiden, Bryce, Austin, Dakota and Bridget Krzanowski; and her siblings-in-law, Betty Derogotis, Everett Kniess (Darlene) and Ervester Kniess. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
