He was predeceased by : his parents, Alfred Sr. Zeller and Clara Zeller (Blahnik); his wife Alice Wendel; his children, Charmaine Freeberg and Mark Zeller; his children-in-law, Maribeth Zeller and Doug Elsner; his brother Donald; and his siblings-in-law, Barbara Zeller and Joseph Roth.
He is survived by : his children, Colleen Boland (Mark), Thomas Zeller (Mary), Claudia Elsner (Joe Brown) and Paul Zeller (Mary); his son-in-law Dean Freeberg; his grandchildren, Timothy Boland (Michelle), Emily Boland (Lakshmi), Erin Freeberg, Erik Freeberg (Kacie), Lauren Matzkin (Daniel), Jennifer Miller (Joseph), Connor Elsner (Brianna), Anna Elsner, Andrew Zeller, Michael Zeller (Alyssa) and Katie Zeller; his great grandchildren, Parker, Hudson, Jace, Ellis, Wyatt, Madeleine, Abby, James, Mackenzie and Charlotte; and his sister Joanne Roth.
According to Al's wishes, in lieu of floral expressions, memorial funds will be established by the family to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital and St. John's Homeless Shelter.
