She was predeceased by: her parents, Carl Jensen and Clara Jensen (Johnson); her husbands, Robert Johanknecht (Robert) and Paul Shellenberger; her brothers, Paul and Donald Jensen; and her siblings-in-law, Nancy Jensen, Shirley Jensen, Carl Peterson and Gary Johanknecht.
She is survived by: her daughter Dena M. Sands (Steven); her siblings, Elaine Petersen and David Jensen; her in-laws, Janice, Alan and Rosalie; her stepchildren, Patrick Shellenberger (Celia Pierque Flores), Jeffrey Shellenberger (Brittany) and Melissa Shellenberger Melnick (Chris); and her grandchildren, Caiden Sands, Breckon Sands, Alice Shellenberger, Connor Braker, Evelyn Braker, Nathan Woods, Miles Melnick and Olive Melnick.
Visitation was held on Thursday, December 4th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Lyndahl Funeral Home (1350 Lombardi Ave, Green Bay, WI 54304). A memorial service was held on Thursday, December 4th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the same location.
