Though Darline Marie may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Darline Marie touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Bernard R. Roden (Ben); and her children, Carla, Brent (Suzanne) of Chico, CA, Randy of Madison, WI, Greg (Claire) of Eden Prairie, MN, Jim (Deb Smieja) of Eau Claire, WI, Joe (Terri) of Delaware, OH and Ben (Lori) of Middleton, WI.. She was also cherished by her 19 grandchildren and their spouses/partners, 14 great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials to Mother of Good Counsel, Zilber Hospice, Aurora Hospice at Home, or Wauwatosa Public Library Foundation would be appreciated.
