He was predeceased by: his parents, Francis VanEnkenvort and Irene VanEnkenvort (Kuske); and his brother-in-law Al Athey. He is survived by: his wife Judi; his children, Corey VanEnkenvort (Dawn), Tina Lambesis (George) and Mary Haen (Rod Martinson); his grandchildren, Sarah (Brian), Melissa (Heath), Cole (Molly), George, Gabriella, Henry, Logan (Emerson), Lauren (Spencer), Levi and Lily; his great grandchildren, Landon and Emma; his sister Shirley Athey; and his siblings-in-law, Tina Weas (Ronnie), Jerry Lund (DeeDee) and Susie Koop. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Gary donated his first Van's warehouse to the Ashwaubenon Girl's Softball Association, which still stands today at Pioneer Park.
