She was predeceased by: her parents, Roland Smits and Violet Smits (Klover). She is survived by: her husband Denis L'Empereur of Patrick's Parish; her children, Karen L'Empereur, Renee Aprill (Gary), David L'Empereur (Tina), Denise Schamens (Michael) and Peter L'Empereur (Dayna Bajdan); her grandchildren, Jason Phelan (Jordan), Jessica Phelan (Matt Ringelstetter), Laura Aprill (Liana Streckenbach), Tim L'Empereur (Kellie Catron), Jacob Schamens, Andrew L'Empereur (Jolene Halbach), Steven Aprill (Kayleen White), Samuel Schamens, Ben L'Empereur (Kate Shechtman), Anna Schamens, Ayden L'Empereur (Katelyn Lindley) and Austin L'Empereur; her great grandchildren, Anika and Atlas Phelan; and her sisters, Diane Zazem (Dennis) and Kathy Amenson (Steve).
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 13th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Resurrection Parish (333 Hilltop Dr, Green Bay, WI 54301). A funeral Mass will be held on Monday, October 13th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
Memorial donations in memory of Judy may be made to Hazelwood Historical House.
