He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph J. Peters and Anna A. Peters (Pigeon); his wife Dolores A. DeGrand; his son-in-law Harvey Anderson; his brother Gerald; his sister-in-law Catherine Peters; his sister Verona Peters; his siblings-in-law, Elmer DeGrand (Leona), Norman DeGrand (Marcella), Henry DeGrand, Elizabeth Vande Hei (Robert), Rose (Peter Heezen), Mary Drobeck (Antone), Agnes Hazaert (Wilbert), Sister Mary Eugene "Julia" DeGrand, Margaret Witek (Emil), Cecelia Zellner (Michael) and LaVerne Kanugh (Joseph); and his parents-in-law, Edward and Margaret K. DeGrand (Pirlot).
He is survived by: his children, Kathleen Anderson of Green Bay, Karen Bowers (Mark) of Green Bay, Luke Peters (Grace) of Green Bay and Donald Peters (Diane) of Green Bay; his grandchildren, Jessica Miller (Tommy), Jamie Peters (Danielle), Jennifer DeBauche (Jason), Jodi Pamperin (Jonathon) and Christopher Pamperin; his stepgrandchildren, Kyle, Jon, Jessica, Jimmy and Russ; his great grandchildren, Carter, Briella, Hudson, Kyzer, Leila, Ariana, Owen and Carli; his stepgreat-grandchildren, Stephanie (Hunter), Tanner (Abby) and Tyler; and his sisters, Marian Peters of Luxemburg and Marina Peters of Luxemburg. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and godchildren.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, July 27th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM and on Monday, July 28th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM. A prayer will be held on Sunday, July 27th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 3:30 PM at the McMahon Funeral Home (530 Main St, Luxemburg, WI 54217). A funeral service will be held on Monday, July 28th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the St. Kilian Parish (2508 St Kilian Rd, New Franken, WI 54229). A graveside service will be held on Monday, July 28th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
