With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Roman Karls of Green Bay, Wisconsin, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 30, 2025 at the age of 90. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Roman Karls to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Karls and Veronica Karls (Muellenbach); his brothers, Bernard (Delores), Joseph and Robert; his daughter-in-law Barbie Karls; and his siblings-in-law, Victor Koenig (Alice), Roman Koenig (Theresa), Sylvestor Koenig (Alice), Robert Koenig (Evelyn), Tom Koenig (Marie), Ruth Scharenbroch (Francis), Laura Wagner (Ashley), Virginia Neumeyer (Jerry), Anna Mae Stoelb (Donald), Margaret Bonde, Betty Bonde (Roman), Arlene Schad (Fritz) and Margaret Koenig.

He is survived by: his wife LaVerne Koenig; his children, Steven Karls (Sally), Debra Blecha (Ken), Wayne Karls and Joe Karls (Carol); his grandchildren, Andrew, Kelly, Nicholas, Brittany, Olivia, Christopher, Jagger, Bon, Kellen, Jamie and Reed; his siblings, Erv Karls (Sandy), Ruth Koenig (Jerry), Joan Sabel (Ron) and George Karls (Carol Randl); and his siblings-in-law, Audrey Mueller (Jim) and Donald Bonde. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 24th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Agnes Parish (1484 9th St, Green Bay, WI 54304). A funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, June 24th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.

Memorials may be made to Unity Hospice in honor of Roman.

I have many fond memories of my visits to Green Bay to the Karl's household and playing with my cousins. Uncle Roman was always so nice to us kids. I know he will be greatly missed. Dave Bonde”
