She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry Kakkak and Cecelia Kakkak (Loud Bear); her husband Martin Calabaza; and her siblings, Sharon Kakkak, Melvin and Patrick Kakkak.
She is survived by: her daughters, Joan Calabaza and Jeanne Calabaza; her grandchildren, Felicia Peters, Cheyanne King and Robert Hinmon; her great grandchildren, Derrick David, Robert Hinmon, Jr. and Brielle Hinmon; her brother Frank Kakkak; and her niece Barbara Silas. She is also survived by many other nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to St. Kateri Center of Chicago in Sarah's name.
