He was loved and cherished by many people including : his parents, Orville Sr. Hey and Patricia Vande Hey (Lenss); his siblings, Richard Vande Hey, Carolyn Vande Voort (Raymond), Alice Aschenbrenner (Wayne), Fred Vande Hey (Cathy), Marvin Vande Hey (Kim), Karen Verhagen (David), Orville Jr. Vande Hey (Paula), Kevin Vande Hey (Amy), Keith Vande Hey (Beth) and Lois Hauner (Mike); his brother-in-law Jim Petri; his sister Joyce Petri; his sister-in-law Geri Lynn Vande Hey; his nephew Jesse Vande Hey; and his grandparents, Henry, Petronella Vande Hey, George and Mary Lenss. He was also cherished by nieces, nephews, and other extended family.
