She was predeceased by : her parents, Raymond Donner and Stephanie Donner (Yanko). She is survived by : her husband Gerald Helms; her children, Mark Helms (Kim) of Seymour and Mary Helms of Omro; her grandchildren, Marni Helms (Mike), Heidi Johnson (Rob), Andrew Helms (Emily), Ian (Caroline), Colin (Natalie) and Conor Gosling; and her great grandchildren, Alex, Tyger, Cadence, Reagan, James, Ava, Natalie and Andrew Jr.. She is also survived by nieces, nephews.

In lieu of flowers a memorial will be established in Geraldine's name.
