He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence Albert Kitzhaber and Mabel Kitzhaber (McDowell). He is survived by: his sisters, Dolores Cornwell (Calvin) of St. Paul Park, MN, Margaret "Peggy" Brey (Wallace) of Neillsville, WI and Josephine Ann "Jo Ann" Suda (James) of Gurnee, IL.; his stepchildren, Alan Kitzhaber, Ann Ross (Kitzhaber), Gerry, Eriko Kitzhaber (Saso), Beth (Kitzhaber), Doyle Zimmerman, Lori Kitzhaber, Daniel, Christine Kitzhaber (Knoeck), Peter, Michelle Kitzhaber (Kuhlman), Keith Kitzhaber, Amy (Kitzhaber) and Matt Gross; Geneva Rojillio (Gregory), Loretta Verhalen (Elden), Catherine Deiler (Richard), Elmer Kitzhaber, Raymond "Bud" Kitzhaber (Mary Ellen), Lorraine Klapatauskas (Michael) and Ronald Kitzhaber (Bonita). He is also survived by one of 11 children in his family, his family, nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be directed to the St. Mary's Memorial Fund, Greenwood American Legion, Diocesan sponsored orphanage Casa Hogar, Juan Pablo II, or NET Ministries.
