In the hush of twilight, as the stars twinkle in silent homage, we reflect on the legacy Jack leaves behind and his impact on the lives of his loved ones. Though Jack may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the memories held dear by his family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Adolph Abel and Anita E. Abel (Dill); and his sister-in-law Nancy Abel. He is survived by: his wife Betty of Neillsville; his daughters, Jeanette Gehrmann (David) of Crystal Lake, IL and Theresa Abel (Tim O'Neill) of Madison, WI; his granddaughters, Anna and Claire Gehrmann; and his brothers, Gary Abel of Racine, WI and Tom Abel (Lynne) of Greenwood. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 14th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Mary Catholic Church (121 N Main St, Greenwood, WI 54437). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 14th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
