He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward "Rompy" and Martha Romportl (Paulus); and his sisters, Charlotte Jane and Carol Jean. He is survived by: his siblings, Joann Offord of New Richmond, Betty Rogers (Jerry Kubista) of Sarona, Peggy Mancl (Wencl) of Rice Lake, Cindy Snowbank (Larry) of Cumberland, Bernice Holec (John) of Rice Lake, Diane Davis (Terry) of Springbrook and Ed Romportl (Debbie) of Haugen. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews, great nieces.
