He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Mittlesdorf and Mable Mittlesdorf (Erickson); and his siblings, Emery Mittlesdorf, Larry Mittlesdorf, Marion Whight and Sally Prill.
He is survived by: his wife Carol; his children, Richard Mittlesdorf (Georgia) of Dubois, WY, Robert Mittlesdorf (Denise) of Hayward, Karibeth, Aderman of Hayward, Debbi Houston (Guy Jr.) and Chad "Gus" Mittlesdorf (Sue) of Dubois, WY; his sisters, Irene Cook of Elk Mound, WI, Jeanie Christiansen of Seeley, WI and Harriet Gobler (Barry) of Hayward; and his brother-in-law Lee Prill of Bloomer. He is also survived by sixteen grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren.
