She was predeceased by: her husband William Newsome (Max); her parents, Norbert Roessel and Florence Roessel; and her siblings, Corinne Brozic, Milton Roessel (Bud) and Marlene Roessel.
She is survived by: her daughters, Pamela (Wayne Prochniak) and Kathryn (Thomas Herr); her grandchildren, Carolyn Castonguay (Nick), Alexandria Herr and Christopher Herr; her great grandchildren, Claire and Aubrey Castonguay; her siblings, Sandra Johnson and Allen Roessel; and her siblings' children, Gail Roessel, Debbie Wiitala (Wade) and Keith Roessel.
