In the vast expanse of eternity, Robert G. shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Robert G. farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.

He was predeceased by: his parents, George R. Goodrich and Mabel R. Goodrich (Dawson); his wife Carol Ann Sink; and his stepfather Ralph Arenholz. He is survived by: his sons, Brandon Goodrich (Jennifer) of Waterloo, Zachary Junge (Janette) of Waterloo and Joshua Junge of Cedar Falls; and his brother James Goodrich (Shirley) of Duluth, MN. He is also survived by 4 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren, and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Visitation was held on Friday, May 16th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Tower Park (4140 Kimball Ave, Waterloo, IA 50701). A funeral service was held on Saturday, May 17th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A celebration of life was held on Saturday, May 17th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
