It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Ruth Trettin (Hayward, Wisconsin), born in Spooner, Wisconsin, who passed away on February 14, 2019, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Melford Norton (Bay) and Karen Norton (Hanson); her husbands, Mervin Nelson and Don Trettin; her children, Bob Thibedeau and Barb Trettin; her children-in-law, Rollin Swanson and Nancy Nelson; and her great grandchildren, Dayne and Drew Schlapper.
She is survived by: her children, Pamela J. Swanson of Hayward, WI, Patrick Nelson of Chandler, AZ and Norman Nelson of Belton, TX; and her stepchildren, Carl, Edith and Donna. She is also survived by eleven grandchildren; thirteen great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be directed to the Sherman and Ruth Weiss Community Library or the Salvation Army.
