It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jacob Jonas of Hazelhurst, Wisconsin, born in Wausau, Wisconsin, who passed away on August 13, 2020, at the age of 66, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, James Jonas and Doloris Jonas (Elson); his aunt Ruthie; and his uncle LeRoy Jonas II. He is survived by: his wife Jane Pyan of Hazelhurst; his children, Amy, Jeremy and Alan Jonas (Holly) of New London; his grandchildren, Jazmin, Jada Jonas and Amy Jonas Saari of Minocqua; his great grandchildren, Grayson and Mathias Saari; his grandson Jeremy Jonas (Kelly) of Junction City; his brother John Jonas (Cherryl) of Weston; his parents-in-law, Duane and Barbara Pyan of Wausau; his sisters-in-law, Linda Meyer (Pete) of Merril, Connie Brodjeski (Jeff) of Wausau and Gail Dobrzynski (Rick) of Portage; and his pets, Buckwheat and Sassy. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
