She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence Leonhard and Hazel Leonhard (Tappon). She is survived by: her husband Philip Sanford; her siblings, Dona (Leonhard) Copa (George Copa) and Jerry Leonhard (Bonnie Leonhard); and her children, Brenda Nelson and Ronald Sanford. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren (their spouses) and 6 great grandchildren.
