With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Vernell Spencer Hesselberg of Holmen, Wisconsin, born in Monroe, Wisconsin, who passed away on September 18, 2022 at the age of 95. He was predeceased by : his parents, Harold Hesselberg and Ragna Hesselberg (Kirkeeng); his siblings, Harland, Blaine, Roy (Alice), Dean (Sue), Rosella Gikling (Vernon) and Ruth Lambert (Clayton); and his parents-in-law, Ronald Foss and Diane Vieaux.

He is survived by : his wife Carolyn La Fleur; his children, Susan (Patrick Kline), Steve (Joy) and Christopher (Beth); his grandchildren, Mike (Marci), Matt (Kelly Jo), Mark Kline (Cali), Dan Hesselberg, Ryan Hesselberg, Kristi Hesselberg (Jared Sobotta) and Courtney Beck (Joe); his stepgrandson Michael Knudson; his brothers, Carmen and Gordon (Valeria); and his sisters-in-law, Ramona Hesselberg and La Vonnne Kark (Bud). He is also survived by eleven great-grandchildren.
