He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Hartfiel and Lola Hartfiel (Kriese); his sisters, Jane and Barbara Hartfiel; his grandfather Art Kriese; his parents-in-law, Clarence and Elaine Diem; and his niece Erin Hartfiel.
He is survived by: his spouse Lynn; his siblings, Larry Hartfiel (Chris) and Judy Fox (Dan); and his siblings-in-law, Allen Diem (Cindy), Sandy Kloehn (Richard), Jan Klatt (John) and Judy Gorges (Mike). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and close friends.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 8th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Bethlehem Lutheran Church (752 Grand View Rd, Hortonville, WI 54944). A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, October 8th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
