He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Jacob and Katharine; his wife Arlene; his sons, Jeffrey Franz (Lee Ann), Richard Franz (Tracy) and Thomas Franz (Mary); his daughter-in-law Terry Franz; his stepdaughters, Susan Casper (Ross), Kathryn Fenner, Ann Jameson (Scott) and Mary Yaeger (Pete); his sisters, Dorothy Quillin and Arline Martin; his son James Franz; and his siblings, Karl Franz and Elaine Lepp. He was also cherished by 22 grandchildren, and 11 great-grandchildren.
