He was predeceased by: his parents, Alfred LaPean and Irene LaPean (Rose); his brother Robert; and his brother-in-law Bill Fredrickson. He is survived by: his wife Pamela Brantner; his children, Ted (Jessica), Andy (Leslie), Kyle (Christa), Paul, Desmond, Keoni, Daniel and Remy; his grandchildren, Samuel, Abigail, Jacob, Vicky, Alex, Elizabeth, Madison and Eliana; and his siblings, Violet Pichler (Wilbert), Bernard LaPean (Linda), Janice Snider (Jerry) and Jean Fredrickson.
