He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Marinus Kievit and Cornelia Kievit (Oderkirk); his wife Carla Vollmers March; his children, Todd Kievit (Carmen) of Central Point, OR and Amy Meltesen (Ryan) of Oceanside, CA; his grandchildren, Aubrey Kievit, Aaron (Betty), Andrew Trauter and Rylee Meltesen; his great grandchild Christopher Trauter; his brother Robert (Carolyn); and his brothers-in-law, Clyde (Kathy) and Vere Vollmers (Ellen). He was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.
