He was predeceased by: his parents, Magnus Hansen and Esther Hansen (Johnson); his son-in-law Marc Olivieri; and his sister Joyce Marrow. He is survived by: his wife Betty Matthys; his children, Diane Olivieri, David Hansen and Glenn Hansen (Chris); his grandchildren, Brittany Johnson (Jeff), Caitlin Gaffer (Corey), Jake Olivieri, Ben Hansen (Natalie) and Haley Hansen; and his great grandchildren, Josephine, Everett Johnson and Maggie Gaffer. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
